For a more intense lime flavor, add the zest of one Key lime to the batter. If you don't have Key limes, regular limes can be substituted, but the flavor will be slightly different. To prevent the cake from sticking, grease and flour the pan, or use a baking spray that contains flour. Store leftover cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
