Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced onion and garlic and sauté until softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.

02

Step
5 mins

Add the chopped chard stems to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften, approximately 5 minutes.

03

Step
8 mins

Add the chopped chard leaves to the pot. Cover and simmer over low heat until the leaves are wilted and tender, about 8 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

04

Step
2 mins

Season the chard mixture with vegetable stock powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir in the diced tomatoes and feta cheese. Cook until the feta begins to soften and slightly melt, about 2 minutes.

05

Step
2 mins

Pour in the heavy cream and gently heat through, stirring occasionally, for another 2 minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed and add more cream if a saucier consistency is desired. Serve immediately.

For a richer flavor, use roasted garlic instead of fresh.
A pinch of red pepper flakes adds a nice touch of heat.
Serve with crusty bread for dipping into the creamy sauce.
This dish can be made ahead and reheated gently.
If you don't have red chard, rainbow chard or spinach can be substituted.

This was so easy and flavorful! I added a squeeze of lemon at the end and it really brightened it up.

Delicious and healthy! I will definitely be making this again. I omitted the heavy cream to make it a bit lighter, and it was still great.

My family loved this! Even my picky eaters ate their vegetables. I used spinach instead of chard, and it worked perfectly.
