Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Lightly drizzle olive oil onto the bottom of a baking dish to coat. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Season the squash halves generously with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Arrange the squash halves in the prepared baking dish, cut-side down. (1 minute)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until a fork easily pierces through both skin and flesh, approximately 25 minutes. (25 minutes)

06

Step

Flip the squash halves and continue to roast for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the cut sides to caramelize slightly. (5 minutes)

For enhanced flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of fresh thyme or rosemary before roasting.
A drizzle of balsamic glaze after roasting adds a touch of sweetness and acidity.
If the squash begins to brown too quickly, reduce the oven temperature slightly.
Delicata squash skin is edible, so no need to peel!
