Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

De-bone/skin canned salmon as preferred. (2 minutes)

03

Step

In a mixing bowl, combine the drained salmon, Cheddar cheese, egg, spicy brown mustard, mayonnaise, fresh chives, seafood seasoning, dried minced onion, and crushed red pepper. Mix until well combined. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Separate the crescent roll dough into individual triangles. Spoon 1 to 2 tablespoons of the salmon mixture onto the center of each triangle. Wrap the edges of the dough around the filling and pinch to seal, forming a roll. Place the rolls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, leaving about 1 to 2 inches between each. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Using a fork, gently poke the tops of the rolls to allow steam to escape during baking. Lightly spray the rolls with olive oil cooking spray. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the filling is heated through, approximately 10 to 15 minutes. (10-15 minutes)

07

Step

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. (5 minutes)

For an extra touch of flavor, consider adding a squeeze of lemon juice to the salmon mixture.
Feel free to substitute the Cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese, such as Monterey Jack or Gruyere.
If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce or omit the crushed red pepper.
These rolls are best served warm, but they can also be enjoyed at room temperature.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Great recipe! I used regular crescent rolls instead of reduced-fat, and they turned out perfectly.
