Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

In a large salad bowl, gently combine the watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, strawberries, peaches, grapes, and kiwi. Ensure the fruits are evenly distributed. (5 minutes)

02

Step
2 mins

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the cold water, thawed orange juice concentrate, limeade concentrate, and lemonade concentrate until well blended. (2 minutes)

03

Step
3 mins

Pour the citrus dressing over the fruit salad. Gently toss to coat, being careful not to bruise the fruit. (3 minutes)

04

Step
1 mins

Sprinkle the toasted pecans evenly over the salad. (1 minute)

05

Step
5 mins

Serve the fruit salad immediately, or chill for later. For an elegant presentation, scoop the salad onto lettuce leaves. (5 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of fresh mint or basil.
To toast the pecans, spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until fragrant and lightly browned. Alternatively, toast them in a dry skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently, until fragrant.
If you don't have frozen juice concentrates, you can substitute with fresh juices, adjusting the sweetness to your taste.
The fruit salad can be made ahead of time, but it's best to add the pecans just before serving to maintain their crunch.
Other fruits can be added. Feel free to add blueberries, raspberries, mango etc. to the salad.
