Follow The Directions

01

Step

Gently pat the blanched peas dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Place them in a large mixing bowl. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, horseradish, and Dijon mustard until smooth. (3 minutes)

03

Step

Pour the dressing over the peas and gently toss to coat evenly. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Stir in three-quarters of the chopped fresh dill, reserving the rest for garnish. (1 minute)

05

Step

Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste. (1 minute)

06

Step

Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. (120 minutes)

07

Step

Before serving, garnish with the remaining chopped fresh dill.

For the best flavor, use fresh dill. If fresh dill is not available, dried dill can be substituted, but use only 1 tablespoon as dried herbs are more potent.
Adjust the amount of horseradish to your preference. If you like a milder flavor, start with 1 tablespoon and add more to taste.
If you are using frozen peas, make sure to thaw them completely and drain off any excess water before blanching.
