Sauté Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced red onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is softened and translucent, about 3-5 minutes. (5 minutes)

Grill to Perfection: Carefully transfer the foil-lined pizzas to the preheated grill. Close the grill lid and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, bubbly, and the crust is lightly golden. (7 minutes)
06 Step

Serve and Enjoy: Using oven mitts, carefully remove the pizzas from the grill. Let them cool slightly before slicing and serving immediately. Garnish with extra fresh basil, if desired.
For a crispier crust, preheat the foil sheets on the grill for a minute or two before placing the pizza on them.
Experiment with different cheeses such as provolone, fontina, or a blend of Italian cheeses.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
If you don't have fresh basil, dried basil can be used, but use half the amount as the flavor is more concentrated.

Feb 27, 2025My crust burned a little, so I'll try lowering the heat next time. But the flavors were fantastic!
