Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 3-quart casserole dish with cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, combine 3/4 cup granulated sugar and cinnamon. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and toss in the sugar mixture until well coated. Transfer to the prepared casserole dish. (10 minutes)

04

Step

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons margarine (3 to 5 minutes). Stir in the remaining 1/2 cup granulated sugar, peanuts, and brown sugar until combined. Pour over biscuits in the casserole dish, trying to moisten them evenly. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 40 minutes. Remove from oven, gently mix, and return to oven until puffed and browned, about 15 minutes more.

06

Step

Cool casserole slightly before serving, about 15 minutes.

For an extra decadent touch, drizzle with cream cheese frosting after baking.
Feel free to substitute pecans or walnuts for peanuts.
Ensure the biscuits are well-coated in the sugar-cinnamon mixture for the best flavor distribution.
