For an extra layer of flavor, brush the tops of the mozzarella sticks with melted garlic butter before baking. Experiment with different cheeses! Provolone, fontina, or even a spicy pepper jack would be delicious. If you don't have pizza sauce, marinara or even a pesto dipping sauce would work well. Make sure to seal the edges of the crescent rolls well to prevent the cheese from leaking out during baking.
