For an even smoother hummus, remove the skins from the black beans before processing. To elevate the flavor, roast the garlic before adding it to the hummus. Wrap a head of garlic in foil with olive oil and roast at 400°F (200°C) for 40 minutes, or until soft. Experiment with different spices! Cumin, smoked paprika, or chili powder all add a unique depth of flavor.
