For a smoky depth, add 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika along with the chili powder and cumin. Feel free to experiment with other beans, such as pinto or white beans. Garnish with your favorite toppings: a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt, shredded cheese, chopped cilantro, or a squeeze of lime juice. To thicken the chili, mash a small amount of the beans against the side of the pot. This chili is even better the next day! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
