In a separate bowl, combine the drained corn and chopped jalapeño peppers. Add this mixture to the cream cheese sauce in the skillet. Season generously with salt and stir to combine thoroughly.

If you don't have a microwave, melt the cream cheese and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly.
