Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly coat a 10x15-inch baking sheet with cooking spray. (Prep time: 2 minutes)

02

Step
8 mins

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain well. (Cook time: 10 minutes)

03

Step
4 mins

In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, until slightly toasted and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in milk until you reach your desired sauce consistency. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, whisking constantly, about 2 minutes. Stir in the processed cheese cubes until melted and the sauce is smooth, stirring often. (Sauce Prep: 10 minutes)

04

Step
2 mins

Unroll the refrigerated pizza crust and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Spread about 3/4 cup of the cheese sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border. Stir the cooked macaroni into the remaining cheese sauce until well combined. Spoon the macaroni and cheese mixture evenly onto the pizza crust. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top. (Assembly: 5 minutes)

05

Step
15 mins

Bake in the preheated oven until the crust is lightly browned and the mozzarella cheese is melted and golden brown, about 15 minutes. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving. (Bake time: 15 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a sprinkle of garlic powder or a dash of hot sauce to the cheese sauce.
Feel free to experiment with different cheeses in the sauce. Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or Gruyère would all be delicious additions.
If you don't have refrigerated pizza crust, you can use homemade pizza dough or even a pre-baked pizza crust.
Add your favorite pizza toppings! Cooked bacon, diced ham, sautéed onions, or sliced tomatoes would all be great additions.
