Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond butter, chocolate chips, honey, chia seeds, ground flax seeds, and coconut. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Mix on low speed, gradually increasing to medium, or stir vigorously by hand until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and the mixture begins to form a cohesive ball. (5-7 minutes)

03

Step

Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, shape the mixture into 1-inch balls. (10 minutes)

04

Step

Arrange the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze until firm to the touch. (30 minutes)

For a richer flavor, toast the rolled oats in a dry skillet over medium heat for a few minutes before using.
Feel free to substitute other nut butters like peanut or cashew butter.
Add a pinch of sea salt to the mixture to enhance the sweetness and bring out the flavors.
These bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or in the freezer for longer storage.
