Follow The Directions

01

Step

Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on both sides. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, until lightly browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside. (10 minutes)

03

Step

In a large bowl, whisk together the condensed golden mushroom soup, white wine, water, and drained mushrooms until well combined. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Pour the soup mixture into the skillet. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Return the pork chops to the skillet, nestling them into the sauce. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Cover the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 45-60 minutes, or until the pork chops are tender and cooked through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). (60 minutes)

07

Step

Serve the pork chops hot, spooning the flavorful sauce over the top. Excellent served over rice, mashed potatoes, or egg noodles.

For a richer flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of butter to the sauce during the last 15 minutes of simmering.
Fresh herbs, such as thyme or parsley, can be added during the last few minutes of cooking for a brighter flavor.
If the sauce becomes too thick, add a little more water or white wine to reach your desired consistency.
Bone-in pork chops are recommended for maximum flavor, but boneless chops can be used; reduce cooking time accordingly.
