For a milder flavor, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeno peppers before chopping. If you don't have fresh jalapenos, you can substitute 1-2 teaspoons of dried red pepper flakes in the marinade. For extra smoky flavor, use wood chips (such as hickory or mesquite) in a smoker box on your grill while cooking the ribs. These ribs can also be cooked in the oven. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C), place ribs on a baking sheet, and bake for 2-2.5 hours, or until tender.
