For best results, marinate the chicken for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, in the refrigerator. This marinade can also be used for other meats, such as lamb or beef. Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to suit your spice preference. If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce or omit them altogether. For a richer flavor, try using freshly ground spices whenever possible.
