For an extra layer of flavor, try marinating the chicken in Italian dressing for at least 30 minutes before cooking. If you don't have fresh basil, you can use 1 tablespoon of dried basil, but fresh is highly recommended. Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to your preference. For a milder dish, reduce or omit it completely. For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
