For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the rub or sauce. Experiment with different wood chips to find your favorite smoky profile. Hickory, mesquite, or pecan chips can also be used. If you don't have a smoker, you can also bake the ribs in the oven at 275 degrees F (135 degrees C) for 3-4 hours, basting with sauce every hour.
