Follow The Directions

01

Step

In the bowl of a food processor, combine the cooked shrimp, diced red bell pepper, minced red onion, and chopped cilantro. Pulse gently until the mixture is finely chopped and well combined, but still retains some texture. (Approximately 2-3 minutes)

02

Step

Transfer the shrimp mixture to a small bowl. Stir in the mayonnaise until evenly incorporated. Season generously with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. (Approximately 1 minute)

03

Step

Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. (Approximately 30 minutes)

For the best flavor and texture, use freshly cooked shrimp. If using pre-cooked shrimp, ensure it is of high quality and has not been previously frozen.
Adjust the amount of mayonnaise to your liking. For a lighter salad, substitute some of the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
A pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce can add a delightful kick to this salad.
Serve chilled on croissants, toasted bread, lettuce wraps, or with your favorite crackers.
