For a richer flavor, use brown butter in the topping. If you don't have time for a traditional rise, you can do a cold rise in the refrigerator overnight. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra special treat. If the top is browning too quickly, tent it with foil during the last 10 minutes of baking.
