Stir in the sliced sausage, tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, dried oregano, dried basil, and dried parsley. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for at least 1 hour, or until the flavors have melded together beautifully and the sausage is fully cooked.
