Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground turkey. Add garlic, pepper, 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, and 1 tablespoon chives. Stir in 1 tablespoon hot sauce. Once the turkey is browned, incorporate the taco seasoning mix according to package directions. (15 minutes)

03

Step

Pour the refried beans into a microwave-safe bowl and heat until softened. Mix in 1 tablespoon chives and 1 tablespoon hot sauce. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Spread the tortilla chips evenly across the bottom of a baking sheet. Spoon the bean mixture over the chips, followed by the turkey mixture. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese, black olives, diced tomatoes, green onions, and the remaining 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, approximately 15 minutes. (15 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a layer of pickled jalapeños before baking.
Serve immediately with your favorite toppings such as sour cream, guacamole, salsa, or a drizzle of extra hot sauce.
For a spicier kick, use a habanero hot sauce or add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the turkey mixture.
