For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. If you don't have brown sugar, you can make your own by mixing 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 tablespoon of molasses. To prevent the brookies from sticking, line the baking dish with parchment paper. Store leftover brookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
